Varying levels of write access are made available via the project bot [Derek](https://github.com/alexellis/derek) to help regular contributors transition to GitHub Organisation Membership. Members gain access to a private Slack channel and are also featured on the Team page of the OpenFaaS website.
GitHub Organisation Members are expected to:
* attend all community calls
* participate daily in the private members channel, public #contributors and #openfaas channels
* make regular contributions to the project codebase
* respond to messages in a timely fashion
This group is intended to be an active team that shares the load and collaborates together. Sometimes finding time to be active can be harder to balance, if that's the case please contact the project lead. However, if GitHub Organisation Members stop participating in all of the above for several consecutive weeks without contacting the project lead, then they risk having their membership revoked.
